A haven is a place of shelter and safety. My vision for this blog is to evolve into a community for those in recovery to find support and resources.

I’m a freelance writer and a grad student working on becoming an LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor). I’ve been in recovery for 7 years and I’m sober from chemical addiction for 16 years and sober from alcohol for 3.5 years.

I have a vision of The Recovery Haven having 4 walls and leading others to sobriety someday.

I’ve done numerous guest blogs, as listed below. If you’re interested in having a piece written by me, contact me here.
